T.E.D Lab

The task was to launch a bottle, that we are going to design to look like a rocket and we went into groups of 5 to 4. We did it because in lockdown we have done heaps of thing that stands for Tawhirimatea. I learned there are heaps of way things fly. I enjoyed doing this. I am still wondering if my idea could work to launch the rocket.

Profile

The task was to make a profile for the T.E.D Lab we are doing.

I did it because so everyone knows what I am doing.

I learned that engineers do different jobs.

I enjoyed getting my job and seeing a bottle lanched up to the sky.

I am still wondering if my designer.

Math grid 2020 term 2 results

I am trying to get my time tables done by trying to get my time tables correct and to get my time faster.

I did it because I want to get faster at it and so a can do it fast and get my 12 times tables correct.

I learned if I trust myself I can get a really high score 90 was today.

I enjoyed that I got a good high score.

I am still wondering if I can get 100 out of 100 and get 5:47 for my time.

My Reading

the task was to read this book on your computer about rockets and war. We did it so we learn about rockets more. I learned that rockets were used in the war and i did not know that. I enjoyed reading it. I am still wondering if rockets are used for something else.

My Wind Racer

We had to make a car then put a sail on it they were called WIND RACERS!!!!!!!!!! you can builded it out of Lego or cardboard.  We did it because we are Tawhirimatea  which is the wind. I learned that if you build a wind racer that if you put weight on it and you want it to go with out cheating you have to blow harder. I enjoyed building the wind racer car especially the stock car one. I am still wondering if i can build a..................... got cart.

My Emoji Air Map

The task was to make get piece of paper and put tap on then put it somewhere around your house i made 4 of them
Purple is the back door
Pink is the sliding/front door
Yellow is my wardrobe
Blue is the fire place.
We did it because we were testing the air and see how clean it is cause we can't see air around us we wanted to see how dirty it is or clean.
What I learned is that air is dirty in some places and others clean and also I Learned is that the (Air Collector) work.
I enjoyed putting the map together like finding our house (Dad's house) putting color in the pins and getting the Emojis.
I am still wondering if... there are more places that have dirty air.

My Letter Danielle

We had to write a letter to this person called Danielle she is an engineer, she is coming to our class room witch is called Tawhirimatea. Why I did it because she is coming to our class room to help build rockets with us so we wrote a letter to her so she knows who we are. What I learnt is that she has a really cool work she is friendly and she can't wait to help us and I can't ever. I enjoyed doing the letter about...  ME!!! and learning about her. I am still wondering if we can build other stuff with her and if her friends can come and help.
